Petal Copper Ring

Some pieces you forget you're wearing - and then your hands remind you they feel different. We made this ring for the people whose finger joints have been keeping a quiet score of every year of work - the flowers are hand-detailed one petal at a time, the beaded border traced dot by dot along both edges, the whole surface worked slowly until the copper holds every mark of the making.

People have worn copper against their skin for thousands of years and the ones who come back to us wearing this ring always say the same thing: their fingers stopped reminding them quite so often.

This is one of the last rings we'll make before we close our workshop for good. We hope it finds the hand that needs it most.
