Tor Copper Earrings
There's a steadiness that comes from stone something that's been held by the earth for longer than we can measure. I made these for that feeling.
Each earring is a series of linked copper rings, and in each ring sits a crystal set by hand, one at a time. The technique takes patience. You have to fit the stone, secure it, then move to the next ring. There's no rushing it. The crystals catch light in their own way warm and quiet, not loud.
People who wear copper seem to find their own ground. Their bodies remember what steadiness feels like. I've seen it happen for forty years, and I still don't need to explain it.
